BEFORE YOU COMMENT: About the danged TOES cause I'm sick of hearing it with every submission of this design, lol; This is a monster, and MY artist rendition of a werewolf....he has five human digits, and one additional dewclaw on each limb. It's a DEWCLAW. It's an idea I had to make him more monstrous and show the combination of wolf and man in my own way rather than do four digits like everyone else does. I was attempting to try and do something original but it's caused me so much annoyance of people not "getting it" I probably won't do this on future pieces. Please do not post comments complaining about the toes, if you don't like it that's fine, but don't leave me negative comments because I will not alter this particular piece. It was my artistic design choice!

CURRENT PRICING: I now have castings readily available. For a fully painted piece the price is $300.00 (dropped from $400.00 thanks to foundry assistance), for a blank piece the price is $175 (also drastically dropped). Shipping is $20-$30 depending on if you are in the US or out of the country as postal pricing has gone up. I can paint these custom for you but BE DESCRIPTIVE, and only ask if you're definitely buying...it takes a lot of time and energy to paint these, and takes time to reply to messages, so please be clear so everyone is happy :).

This particular piece was for an etsy client in Japan! The colors are a bit deeper and darker than the photo shows, but the intent was painting a blackish brown colored werewolf...similar to how black wolves in the wild have traces of brown. If you like what you see and want to order one for yourself in these colors...I can replicate the paint work for yours :).

This figure is almost 9 inches tall and very chunky, and cast in a VERY sturdy polyurethane resin (the foundry uses the same stuff I have used in the past!). I sculpted the original, and my sculpture was molded and cast at a foundry. I then painted this piece myself. I used a airbrush for general soft shading, detail brushes, a paint wash for part of the base, and clear varnishes to preserve the paintwork. I use a combination of a matte varnish for the dull areas, and gloss for the eyes, mouth, nose, and fingernails. This is a special art piece, not a cheap resin kit! He is ONE piece of solid resin, and not hollow. This piece is a perfect replica of my original sculpture that I spent weeks on.

Please leave me a comment, and serious buyers shoot me a note (or e-mail me at meadowknight@yahoo.com) and I will get back to you asap with any questions you may have. Thanks for looking! :)

Do you still sell casts of this one?
