Description: This piece I created for my dad as a Christmas present originally, then decided to make a mold and cast these up for sale as well . My dad collects rhinos, they're his favorite animal...and I've grown up admiring his collection of various rhino figurines and art pieces/decorations. It's nice to be able to add to his collection as an artist! I chose a steampunk style theme for this one as I thought it'd be cool with a tough armored animal like a rhinoceros ! My dad is also an amazing guitar player and sometimes plays live, so this is something cool and unique he can wear to shows. Also, the style of the piece is something a man or a woman could wear as it's not too feminine or too masculine.

How I made this and what you get with your order: I sculpted the original out of Supersculpey Firm, then made a silicone mold. I cast identical duplicates in a sturdy light weight resin mixed with a gray pigment. Each piece also has a slight silver sheen by using a mold FX powder. The black detailing is a paint wash, and the eye is painted a bright magenta. Each piece has slight differences since I paint them all by hand, but the quality is the same for each piece, and each casting is identical thanks to the silicone mold from my original. As a final touch each piece is coated with a satin clear coat, strung on a leather cord, and crimped with two 9mm glass crow/pony beads (one hematite colored and one clear). The sculpted piece not including the cord is just under 2 inches long, and about 1.5 inches wide at the widest point. Leather cording length is approximately 30 inches long total before being looped/crimped.
