Work in progress Shotomoths painting! No clear coats have been applied yet...the one to the far left is almost done. Somehow this freaking little guy is taking me more time to paint than one of my big werewolves! I think it's because it's a struggle to keep the paint within the lines on such a small figure, with all his detailed areas (he's 1.5 inches tall). I will be hand painting my minis and selling them for $35.00 each in my store alongside the plain casts (which I'll sell for $10 to $12 or so)...and if they sit in my store un-bought, so be it, lol, this is too much work. I will be doing these in extremely low quantity because I just don't have the time to keep doing this with the bazillion other art/creative tasks I've loaded my plate with. Most likely they will only be offered 1 or 2 figures at a time per character in my store...this is just too much work/hours for what I can charge. Also seen here is one of my new header cards, and business card!
Once this is all squared away, every figure sold (either plain or painted) will come in a small plastic baggy with a header card, a thank you business card, and a Big Rad Wolf button/badge while supplies last (got some awesome 1 inch buttons made for the people who are my first customers of my new store!).
Sorry this is taking so long to make these available people, but it's just so much work to be doing on my own. Thankfully I have some awesome buddies who will be helping advertise though, which is a BIG blessing! I am designing, sculpting, molding, casting, writing...and now even painting some of these, and as much as I love it it's wearing me out a bit as my wallet/bank empties with no money coming in yet to compensate, lol. This is a total labor of love! I will announce my online store opening in a journal as soon as I can open it. Almost all the pieces are in place now that I have my headers and everything, but there's still a lot of work I have to do. I will probably paint 2 or 3 figures of each character per week until I have the current 9 characters done and offered (I can only handle all this painting in moderation, it eats up way too much time), and only 1 to 3 will be available for sale at a time since I need to be doing other work for my career (z-brush, etc., portfolio!). That being said, if any of you decide to collect the painted versions of my AMP mini figures...if you miss the small store drop once it's up, just note me and let me know what character you want. For SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY I can take requests as time allows so you can complete your set! I will only do this by some money down in Paypal, due to people having flaked on me in the past. In a way after my initial small drop, the painted figures will end up being a made per order item if my small stock sells out.
